Hello, I am Trina, the owner of Art Dat NoLa. I established this company to allow me to share my creativity with others, instead of storing it under the bed and in a closet.

I started being creative around age four. I would design and sew clothes for my favorite doll back then. Around the age of 8, I began drawing images from the ads of fashion models in the newspapers, as well as the comic strip characters from the comic pages.

I am self-guided by my creativity. I follow no rules, and have no formula for my creative process, nor do I have a particular approach or process to creating. I let the canvas speak to me. Sometimes it whispers softly and other times it screams, but no matter how it chooses to communicate I am always along for the ride.

I am not formally trained. I love to draw, paint, sculpt, craft, sew, crochet, write, build furniture, play around with interior design, digital software, and just explore creativity anyway that I can. I am inspired by nature, music, vitality, and freedom-free labeling. I want to use all mediums in any way that the canvas requests.
